01 · Overview
The opportunity
Project management at ParkWest is closer to producer than coordinator. You'll own a portfolio of accounts across brand, web, and performance — running the schedule, protecting the margin, keeping clients informed before they ask, and making sure the creative and strategy teams have the conditions to do their best work. You set the tempo for the engagements you run.
02 · A day in the life
What the week looks like
Monday morning is portfolio triage — which accounts are at risk, where is scope drifting, what does the team need unblocked today. Midweek you're running stand-ups across two accounts, writing two status updates, replanning a sprint, and reforecasting margin on a third. Friday is delivery review and a finance sync to make sure billing reflects reality.
03 · What you'll own
The work itself
- 1Own scope, schedule, budget, and client communication on 3–5 concurrent engagements.
- 2Plan and run weekly sprints across strategy, design, and engineering.
- 3Forecast and report margin monthly, with a written read on health and risk.
- 4Negotiate change orders and scope shifts before they become invoicing surprises.
- 5Improve our delivery system — templates, rituals, status formats, retros.
04 · What success looks like
How we'll measure it
01
Accounts you run land on schedule, on margin, and renew without drama.
02
Clients describe the experience as 'in control' even when the work is hard.
03
The team you work with says you make their week easier, not heavier.
05 · What you bring
The fit
Must-haves
- 4+ years agency project management across creative and digital work.
- Strong written communication — your status emails read like documents executives forward.
- Comfort with scope, budget, and margin conversations — internally and with clients.
- Calm under pressure and a bias toward writing things down.
Bonus points
- Experience with resourcing tools (Float, Forecast, Productive, Harvest).
- Background in web/engineering project management, not only creative.
