01 · Overview
The opportunity
ParkWest sits in the middle of growth strategy, brand, and performance for a roster of operators who measure marketing in pipeline, not impressions. We're hiring a Content Marketer to take ownership of editorial on three to five client accounts at a time — interviewing subject-matter experts, building the calendar, writing the work, briefing designers, and pushing it through search and lifecycle channels that actually compound.
02 · A day in the life
What the week looks like
A normal week starts with a research block — competitive SERPs, customer call recordings, an SME interview booked for Thursday. By midweek you're drafting two long-form pieces, briefing the designer on assets, and handing off five social cutdowns to the lifecycle team. Friday is performance review: which pieces are ranking, which earned links, which are quietly compounding to pipeline, and what the calendar should look like next month.
03 · What you'll own
The work itself
- 1Plan and own monthly editorial calendars for 3–5 client accounts.
- 2Write long-form, short-form, and email copy that holds its own next to in-house teams.
- 3Run SME interviews and translate transcripts into structured outlines designers can brief from.
- 4Partner with SEO to brief, optimize, and refresh content against real search intent.
- 5Brief designers, motion, and lifecycle on how each piece gets cut down and distributed.
- 6Measure rankings, assisted conversions, and pipeline contribution — and feed it back into the calendar.
04 · What success looks like
How we'll measure it
01
Each account has a calendar tied to a documented thesis, not a content-for-content's-sake plan.
02
Organic traffic, qualified leads, and assisted conversions trend up quarter over quarter.
03
Clients renew and expand scope because the content is doing measurable commercial work.
05 · What you bring
The fit
Must-haves
- 3+ years agency or in-house content marketing, with a portfolio of work you can defend line by line.
- Working SEO fluency — keyword intent, on-page structure, internal linking, content refreshes.
- AP-level editing and a point of view about voice, not just grammar.
- Comfort interviewing executives and translating jargon into useful prose.
Bonus points
- Experience writing for regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, legal).
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Ahrefs, Semrush, and a modern CMS or two.
06 · Compensation
What we pay, openly
